The “Spreading Success” Podcast By Rom Raviv Involves Interviews From World Class Entrepreneurs Like Grant Cardone, David Meltzer And More.
Rom Raviv, CEO & Founder of Podblade and host of the podcast “Spreading Success”,
started his entrepreneurial journey by attending business networking events in the city of Long Island, New York. In fact, when Rom started attending these events, he was so young that some of the venues that had age restrictions due to alcohol wouldn't even’t let him in the building. However, due to the immense passion and enthusiasm he had for business, he persevered his way in from time to time. It was these networking sessions that both gave him incredible networking relationships with world class business owners and the motivation to start a podcast, interviewing some of the world's most inspiring entrepreneurs.
The Struggle Paid Off
Rom Raviv started his podcast journey at the age of 18. He loved doing it so much that even before any revenue started coming in, he would spend 8 hours per episode on editing the audio, video, social media and notes. However, Rom shares, “I feel I could have spent my time better. If I had spent time on gaining listeners and recording more episodes rather than editing extensively for hours, we could have grown much faster. The issue was that the podcast obviously still needed to be edited and put on social media, so I was on the verge of quitting my show because I couldn't afford to hire an audio engineer and I clearly couldn't do it all myself.”
Reason For Podblade
Rom’s podcast problem of needing quick, cheap, and high quality outsourced editing is what birthed the idea of Podblade. The venture helps bridge the major gap in time and effort between podcasters recording sessions and episodes going live. He wanted to make sure podcasters were able to focus on sharing their message with the world without having to worry about all the menial tasks of technical editing for their shows.
The Pandemic Scenario
Podcasting is a thriving industry and the pandemic seems to have been a blessing in disguise for it. With more and more people becoming consumers of consistent digital content, they have turned to digital audio content spaces. This inturn has led tons of people wanting to start podcasts for themselves, whether as a main part of their business or a passion project. Podcast listenership has increased drastically over the last two years and has challenged the industry to increase the quality of content over all. Speed and volume of content, without sacrificing quality, is more important than ever.
Podblade is the only whitelabel podcast editing agency of its kind. They offer their services at 1/4th of the industry’s average pricing with services like video editing and social media clip creation. They maintain high quality content delivery through multiple checkpoints within their tight operation.
