New York City’s beloved Italian eatery Rosemary’s has officially opened in South Florida, bringing its cult-favorite Italian cuisine to Miami’s flourishing restaurant scene. Rosemary’s has been a staple of Manhattan’s dining culture since 2012, famed for its farm-to-table ethos with fresh ingredients plucked right from its rooftop garden.

The new Miami outpost, located in the heart of Wynwood and opening this month, will carry forward this commitment to freshness, featuring a garden to supply its vegetables and herbs just like the flagship, plus a local twist sourcing additional ingredients across South Florida. Rosemary’s expansion marks not only a culinary win for Miami but also a growing trend of celebrated New York establishments seeking new horizons down the coast in Magic City.

Rosemary’s Miami is set in a stunning repurposed shoe warehouse transformed into a lush oasis for indoor and alfresco dining. The restaurant’s urban farm is inspired by the Tuscan countryside, developed in partnership with Miami’s Little River Cooperative, rooting the Rosemary concept in community, sustainability and freshness. Designed by New York-based interior design firm Dekar Design (behind all seven Casa Nela restaurants), the 7,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor space will evoke the feeling of an urban farmhouse, combining rustic charm with modern touches.
Executive chef Craig Giunta, whose impressive resume includes Mother Wolf and Macchialina, will be at the kitchen’s helm. At Rosemary’s, Giunta will focus on locally sourced ingredients—many of which will be grown in the restaurant’s garden, like the West Village location’s celebrated rooftop farm. The menu will be vegetable-forward with highlights like their hallmarked handmade pasta and fresh seafood, plus mozzarella pulled in-house, an array of focaccia, along with house favorites such as the eggplant Caponata, chopped salad “Siciliana,” and signature sweet endings like the olive oil cake and bombolini with nutella crema.
