The Hidden Kitchen Workshop Secret Dinner: Today, chef Michael B. Jacobs, private chef to several Miami Heat stars, will welcome the second installment of his exclusive underground dining series with chef Steve Permaul. Chef Permaul will be previewing dishes from his soon-to-open downtown restaurant and lounge. The event is invite-only, but organizers will be scanning The Hidden Kitchen’s social media channels and parent company site for attendance requests. A select few will be contacted with the secret location and arrival instructions.
Miami Takes Over Top Chef Masters: Chef Richard Sandoval of Toro Toro will appear on Bravo's Top Chef Masters this week. The venue will host a viewing party on Wednesday at 10 p.m. to celebrate the accomplishment. Macchialina Turns One: The Pubbelly team will celebrate the one year anniversary of Macchialina Taverna Rustica with a special “Taste of Macchialina” dinner and wine pairing menus through July 25. Eight family-style dishes will hit the tablecloth for $35 per person. Cocktail Classes at The Hoxton: The Hoxton will kick off a new mixology course on August 8. Thomas Merolla will lead attendees through the how-to for three classic sips: The mojito, Pisco Sour, and Old Fashioned. Guests will also nibble on bar bites and get goodie bags.
