The wait is finally over, Sexy Fish is about to take over Miami’s culinary scene.

From upscale design to delicious cuisine, this opening is about to steal the hearts of Miami foodies. With seatings beginning on February 3, the famed London-based restaurant will officially open its first international doors.

Richard Caring is the brains behind some of London’s most popular restaurants, including the global members-only club Annabel’s, and he is now bringing his business ventures to Brickell, one of Miami’s most vibrant neighborhoods.

There is no doubt that Sexy Fish Miami will soon become one of Miami’s most photogenic restaurants, with impeccable interior design. From artwork by Damien Hirst and 26 fish lamps by creative genius Frank Gehry, every detail of the space has been mastered.

Sexy Fish worked alongside Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and Caring on the design process for the new restaurant. The space thoughtfully brings together Miami’s glamorous aura, with mid-century brassie and many elements denoting the ocean.

Not leaving out any details, the interior also features a large illuminated fish tank which was designed by SeaVisions. Within the fish tank lives live coral and a wide array of tropical fish, which steals the show as it spans across the wall of the restaurant's private dining room.

The Miami outpost is staying true to the restaurant's culinary commitment, with menu items inspired by the seas of Asia, with a focus on Japan. Chef Director Bjoern Weissgerber has included many of the restaurant's signature offerings including Duck Salad, Smoked Tuna Belly, Crispy Eringi Mushroom, Black Cod, and King Crab and Bone Marrow. Alongside these classics, the Miami menu will explore new seasonally-inspired elements such as the Sexy Gold Fish and Crispy Caviar with marinated gold-flake sea bass served with caviar.

To complement the menu, the restaurant has curated an extensive wine and champagne list and a variety of delicious theatrical cocktails. Highlighted cocktails include Elderflower and Yuzu, Chocolate and Wine, Lime and Meringue and Raspberry and Yogurt; blending together two unusual flavors, creating innovative must-order drinks.

From food, drink, ambiance and entertainment, Sexy Fish Miami is changing the experiential dinner scene with late-night entertainment, from performances, mermaid dancers, thematic entertainment, healing DJs and so much more. The restaurant explores a late-night menu from Thursday through Saturday, creating the ultimate culinary experience.
