From his world-famous members club Annabel’s in London to serving as a shareholder in Soho House and, of course, launching the lauded Sexy Fish London, Caring has crafted the ultimate recipe for hospitality magic—masterfully merging art, culture, culinary craft and entertainment into one seamless experience. Now, Miami is home to the newest outpost of Sexy Fish, opening up its Brickell doors this fall to the city’s most fashionable and cultured clientele. How is Sexy Fish uniquely Miami?
It’s an exciting, energetic and vibrant city day and night with an international and cosmopolitan culture, making it a perfect match for Sexy Fish. The design of Sexy Fish Miami is glamorous and opulent and blends in with the city perfectly.

What will those who love the London concept look forward to in the Miami location?
Sexy Fish Miami is the perfect mix of fantastic food, decadent cocktails, wines and Champagnes, brilliant entertainment and music from lunch through dinner and beyond. Miami will serve many of the signature dishes of the original Sexy Fish such as duck salad, vegetarian sushi, smoked tuna belly, crispy eringi mushroom, black cod, king crab, bone marrow and (maybe the best) cheesecake. We will also have the addition of new dishes and bold, seasonally inspired flavors overseen by chef [Bjoern] Weissgerber. The menu will be complemented by our signature program of entertainment including world-class performers, dancers and entertainers alongside high-energy DJs who will be taking diners through the later hours.

Tell us about curating some of the design elements—what did that look like?
The restaurant’s contemporary interior is based upon the sea world in the most glamorous of forms. We have major works from the world’s finest designers, Damien Hirst and Frank Gehry. This is art at an extreme that brings a vital experience to all who want to indulge in the best of everything.
Why was Brickell the perfect location for Sexy Fish’s Miami destination?
Brickell’s buzzing residential and commercial neighborhood is the heartbeat of Miami, making it a prime location for our concept. We saw a great opportunity to bring our brand of outstanding cuisine, entertainment, lively dinner and late-night celebrations to the area.

For those who are unfamiliar with the brand, what do you suggest are the must-try dishes and drinks upon visiting?
Some of the signature dishes of the original Sexy Fish are must-tries. However, exclusively for Sexy Fish Miami, we have created a Sexy Gold Fish & Crispy Caviar dish featuring marinated gold-flake sea bass finished on the robata and served with caviar. The cocktails are all curated infusing unique flavors and ingredients expertly mixed and served in a way that makes you want to order each one off the menu just to see it.
