In celebration of Miami’s most artistic time of the year, Shake Shack is partnering with Miami hotspot, Maty’s, for Shake Shack’s first-ever Miami Art Week culinary collaboration. Renowned chefs Valerie and Nando Chang of Maty’s and Itamae are reimagining Shake Shack’s signature flavors with their Peruvian cooking style for a one-of-a-kind Miami Art Week-exclusive menu.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be partnering with the Changs. My connection with Val and Nando goes back several years, where we’ve not only been friends but mutual admirers of each other’s work,” said Mark Rosati, the culinary director of Shake Shack. “Teaming up with them has been a dream of mine, and choosing Art Basel as the backdrop to bring together the world of Shake Shack with the Changs in Miami feels like the perfect timing – allowing us to celebrate the artistic brilliance of the city’s culinary scene.”
During the two-day event, diners can experience the Peruvian takeover, with menu highlights including Maty’s Shack made with Huachano-style pork sausage, fried egg, onion, and rocoto mayonnaise, Huancaína cheese fries, chicha lemonade and the lucuma and brownie shake. In addition to the culinary delights featured during Miami Art Week, guests can enjoy the immersive art installation created by artist collaborator Eric Junker. This news comes as Shake Shack debuts its latest venture– the upcoming revamp of its canned wines, now adorned with Junker’s distinctive artwork.

“Creating this menu has been an amazing experience, being able to blend flavors that we grew up eating in Chiclayo, Peru with our favorite burger, an honor to celebrate our culture,” said Nando Chang of Maty’s and Itamae.
