MILA Omakase is thrilled to announce its participation in SOBEWFF’s first ever ‘A Sushi Omakase Collective’, where five premier Japanese restaurants will come together to present guests a multi–course gastronomic journey with a diverse array of unique and elevated samplings. Working alongside four other award-winning Chefs and seamlessly complementing the artful medley of flavors, Michelin Star Chef Michael Michaelidis, Executive Corporate Chef of Riviera Dining Group, and Chef Reiji Yoshizawa, Head Chef of MILA Omakase, invite patrons to indulge in a curated sampling featuring a premium selection of delicately composed nigiri and specialty Japanese-inspired dishes prepared using the most refined ingredients such as line-caught fish flown in daily from Japan, fresh vegetables and condiments, sea urchin from Hokkaido, sustainable bluefin tuna from Baja and Sanuki Olive Wagyu from Kagawa Prefecture in Japan, paying homage to MILA Omakase’s ever-changing menu, which evolves in harmony with the 72 Japanese micro-seasons.

This SOBEWFF, catch Pink Taco, the iconic rocker-chic Mexican restaurant at the festival’s Tacos & Tequila presented by Tequila Cazadores. Featuring the country’s most acclaimed chefs delivering their signature spins on this classic Mexican dish, SOBEWFF Tacos & Tequila offers guests the opportunity to sample every type of taco from South Florida’s renowned Mexican restaurants. Showcasing their made-from-scratch OG Pink Taco, perfectly crafted with shredded chicken, jack cheese, pickled red onions, avocado, and fried pink corn tortillas; and housemade Something Pink Margarita, a harmonious blend of el jimador blanco tequila, prickly pear puree and simple agave, Pink Taco will bring its bold-flavored bites and tequila-saturated sips to SOBEWFF’s Tacos & Tequila 2023.

This SOBEWFF, Chef Juan Manuel Barrientos and Chef Danny Lledo will collaborate to host an intimate dinner at Elcielo, located at SLS South Beach on February 24th from 7-10PM. Michelin-Starred Chef Juan Manuel Barrientos, known in the gastronomic world as “Juanma,” is the creative mind behind the renowned Elcielo Miami’s exquisite offerings showcasing one-of-a-kind flavors and textures that pay homage to his Colombian roots. International award-winning Chef Danny Lledó finds inspiration in his Portuguese and Valencian heritage to create memorable culinary experiences at Xiquet by Danny Lledó In Washington D.C. Lledo’s delectable dishes combine over 20 compositions of modern Valencian cuisine that showcase Valencian cuisine. The pairing of these two acclaimed chefs promises to be a bold fusion of rich flavors and cultures. Immerse yourself in a culinary adventure and join Katsuya SLS South Beach at SOBEWFF’s highly anticipated Asian Night Market hosted by chef and television personality Jet Tila, and “Food Network Star” winner and cookbook author Aarti Sequeira. Featuring a boldly flavored menu of dishes from across the continent – from sushi to Pad Thai and nearly everything in between – this late-night party will have it all when it comes to showcasing the region’s diverse and equally complex layers of flavor. Showcasing Master Chef Katsuya Uechi’s culinary creations through Katsuya, enjoy a gastronomic experience that skillfully translates Japanese flavors for the American palate. Katsuya offers tantalizing signature dishes such as the savory Truffle Mushroom Chuka Soba, Miso Glazed Black Cod, Branzino served with hachimitsu sauce, and miso buttered Lobster Dynamite.
