Be prepared for some severe nostalgia at Tobacco Road by Kush. After the devastating loss of Miami's oldest bar, Tobacco Road, in 2014, there was a bygone era bootlegger-sized hole in the heart of the Magic City. And though Tobacco Road's glory days are gone, we can thank Matt Kuscher of Kush Hospitality Group for reopening the iconic saloon in March 2021 in downtown Miami's Brickell area. As one of Miami's foremost proctors of pop culture, Kush's tribute to Tobacco Road is 50 percent pop-up, 50 percent homage, and 100 percent dive bar chic. The slogan is simple, "This ain't the real Tobacco Road." Kush's goal was not to recreate the original watering hole, but patrons can feel its once rambunctious spirit. Available for lunch, dinner and delivery daily, the menu reads like a "greatest hits" playlist of American bar food, with elevated twists you'd expect from Kush Hospitality. This spot is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. until two a.m.
