Founded by Rachael Russell Saiger and Vice President, Isabela Rangel Grutman, “Style Saves” will soon celebrate its 12th annual Back-to-School event. At MANA Wynwood Convention Center on August 13 and 14, the nonprofit organization will provide uniforms and school supplies for over 15,000 students.

“After over a decade of hosting our annual Back-To-School event and dealing with the difficulty of ensuring orders are correct and going out on time, we are so excited to finally launch our own private label of Style Saves-branded school supplies, backpacks, uniforms, and sneakers,” said Style Saves president Rachael Russell Saiger.

The label was created to streamline the event and allow it to expand further in the future to provide for even more families. Students and families can sign up for a designated day/time slot to enjoy “shopping” in a department store-style format; everything from uniforms to sneakers to school supplies will be available!

“This will allow us to provide high-quality products for students, ultimately allow us to grow and expand, bringing this important community initiative to other cities that desperately need it,” said Style Saves Vice President Isabela Rangel Grutman.

The mission of Style Saves is to support underprivileged students and their families, all while bringing a community that creates positive impact together. The label is sourcing donations and volunteers so that students from over 1,000 schools/organizations can benefit from the event’s success; Miami-Dade Public Schools, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Voices For Children, His House, Communities In Schools, Irie Foundation, Mentor Network, Lotus House and The Guatemala-Mayan Center are just a few examples.

The community’s support also makes Style Saves’ back-to-school event possible; the City of Miami Police Department, MANA Wynwood Convention Center, GROOT Hospitality, GoPuff, Pepsi, Frito Lay, Jordache and HypeMakerz are all valued sponsors. Food and beverage partners providing refreshments for families, students and volunteers include Bunnie Cakes, Bauducco, Cafe Avanti, Coyo Taco, Rosetta Bakery, Pueblito Viejo, Purely Baked by Sarah, Skinny Lish, Taco Chido and W.O.W Ice- Frozen Desserts!
