Superblue Miami and BMW i are partnering to showcase a phenomenal immersive masterpiece, Pulse Topology, by renowned Mexican-Canadian artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, available for public viewing starting Nov. 17- Aug. 2023.
Bringing art to life in an immersive biometric installation consisting of 3,000 suspended light bulbs glimmering to the heartbeat of different attendants, Lozano-Hemmer invites visitors to traverse the pulsating lights.
With his innovative style of using technology and lights to life, sensors detect and record the heartbeats of participants, inviting those who walk through part of the experience. While maintaining a sustainable agenda for art, the electricity is still vibrating off the fluorescence of the visitor’s heartbeat, giving this art an authentic feel of nature.
“Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s ability to visualize biometric data through audio-visual technologies is outstanding and reflects Superblue’s approach to experiential art perfectly. We look forward to sharing his artwork with South Florida residents and visitors,” shares Mollie Dent-Brocklehurst. Superblue’s co-founder and CEO.
With its mission to bring forth a new understanding of art and to inspire a new generation of innovators, Superblue is bringing the power of art to Miami. This enchanting experience provides a world-class of diverse art experience for your enjoyment. With Miami being the first Superblue location, it’s safe to say that it’s also the first step to an artistic future.
