On New Year’s Eve 1930, a legend was born: The Surf Club. Hosting the likes of everyone from musicians to politicians, famed authors and social magnates, the legendary destination served as an institution where good times were had and opulence was uninhibited. From the ballroom to the beach to behind its closed doors, The Surf Club was the ultimate hideaway for the elite.
Now, the freshly revived property pays tribute to its roots by debuting a brand-new cocktail menu from The Champagne Bar coined Reflections, journeying guests through a prolific history of time. Beloved for its high-level mixology and breathtaking setting, the new menu, developed by head bartender Valentino Longo, showcases today’s interpretation of yesteryear, celebrating the Roaring ’20s and the Great Gatsby era.
Presenting eight unique cocktails that distinctly represent The Surf Club’s most memorable events, guests will taste through everything from the rowdy days of the Kentucky Derby to the Venetian Carnival and Fiesta in Rio, among others. Here, we reveal some highlights. 9011 Collins Ave., Surfside, @fssurfclub
