The Gabriel Miami and The Gabriel South Beach are among the first hotels to join CGI Merchant Group's Conscious Certified Hotels (CCH), an ESG platform dedicated to social, health, and environmental awareness. The Gabriel South Beach, for example, has achieved zero single-use plastic, exceeding the City of Miami Beach's criteria. In addition, the hotel has purchased renewable energy certificates (RECs) for the year 2022. The Gabriel Miami, located in Downtown Miami, has an EV charging station on-site and promotes sustainable transportation through its branded Gabriel bicycles, which are also accessible at South Beach location.

Hillsboro Beach Resort is the only resort on private Hillsboro Mile in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and is noted for its exclusivity and privacy. The Shelborne South Beach Hotel is teaming up with Clean Miami Beach to host an Earth Day Beach Cleanup on Saturday, April 16th, 2022, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. along the beach near 21st Street and 2100 Collins Avenue Miami Beach. Clean Miami Beach is dedicated to removing rubbish and harmful pollutants from Miami Beach and its natural habitats, concentrating on single-use plastics.

The Marker Key West Harbor Resort is teaming with Reef Relief, a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to promoting and conserving the coral reef ecosystem, for a clean-up contest in Key West on April 22 in honor of Earth Day's friendly competition. This will be a friendly competition between area hotels to see who can collect the most trash by 2 p.m. that day.
