As Miami prepares for one of its most prominent weekends of the year, many luxury brands are making their way into the city to take in all the action.
Marking its ties with the motorsport industry, TAG Heuer is excited to announce its one-of-a-kind outdoor installation during Miami’s first-ever Formula 1 weekend. The brand will take over the Miami Design District’s Jungle Plaza, alongside partner Oracle Red Bull Racing Team. Together, the two will offer a driver's dream activation with a pop-up go-kart track.
The space will be transformed into the Grand Prix world, with a track and karts, that guests will be able to race themselves.
The iconic Jungle Plaza mural wall will be completely reimagined with a large installation of TAG Heuer’s interpretation of F1 superstar, Max Verstappen’s Oracle Red Bull Racing Car.
The experience will open to VIPs on May 2 and will open to the public from May 3 through May 7, fully embracing all of the Formula 1 traffic in Miami. Guests will be able to register online to take part in the unique experience. Embracing the full racing environment, the space will also have a raised platform for guests to stand and cheer on the competition happening down on the race track.
Set as petrol stations, the pop-up will also showcase the new collaboration between TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bell Racing, with a series of impressive timepieces. The special edition watch is available to purchase, starting at $2000, is made with both a stainless steel band and blue rubber. The 43mm luxury watch is a true celebration of two timeless brands, featuring Oracle Red Bull Racing’s color scheme, including navy, yellow and red.
Alongside the display of this unique timepiece, the brand will also display the history of TAG Heuer and motorsports in a pop-up shipping container that will feature a variety of go-karting gear for the exciting track usage.
In celebration of this pop-up and Formula 1 Miami, Jungle Park will also transform the space into a private cocktail party on May 7, hosted by TAG Heuer ambassadors, including Max Verstappen, a 2021 champion and Checo Perez, who are both drivers on the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team.
Whether you’re planning on heading to the Formula 1 celebrations or just want a glimpse into the racing world, this experiential pop-up is an activity worth checking out during one of Miami’s hottest weekends of the season.
