Formula One revved up its style and had a winning weekend with a record-breaking attendance of 242,955 fans, with 85,280 in attendance on race day and the highest viewership numbers for the inaugural Miami Grand Prix.

They completely transformed the 275-acre property where Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL Miami Dolphins, sits. The spectator layout was split into eight distinct zones that reflect local culture and lifestyle, including a marina, beach club, and luxury suites for viewing the action on and off the track.

Tequila Herradura created an immersive experiential activation and artistically designed build-out led by Yaz Quiles of Pop! By Yaz featuring performance art, live painting, and curated Tequila Herradura cocktails. Excited F1 event spectators were welcomed to the Tacos & Tequila retreat full of lush greenery and tropical plants, transporting them to an extraordinary experience and tropical oasis at F1. The menu featured delicious tacos and a curated list of cocktails featuring Tequila Herradura’s Ultra and premium Extra Añejo tequilas.

Performative artist Avi, the Air Brush Hero, treated attendees to an immersive and live art installation recreating the visually compelling Tequila Herradura Extraordinary Awaits campaign. This evolving installation not only included a vivid and vibrant mural but also a live interpretive artist who was transformed into a literal piece of art, artistically expressing the storied history and importance of the key ingredient to Tequila Herradura, the Agave plant.

In order to commemorate the big race weekend while also celebrating Cinco de Mayo, Tequila Herradura also launched its most extraordinary cocktail to-date with the launch of the Herradura $1,000 Margarita Glass for Good Project. The project was created in partnership with Playing for Change Foundation, a nonprofit created to inspire and connect the world through music.

"Tequila Herradura celebrates those who transform the ordinary into extraordinary, in this case through the spirit of music," said Darnell Edmonds, Herradura's marketing manager. "With our $1,000 Margarita Glass for Good Project, we're thrilled to have the opportunity to elevate and support the great work that the Playing for Change Foundation does, transforming lives and connecting people."

The Herradura $1,000 Margarita Glass for Good Project celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Tequila Herradura featured Herradura's ultra-rested and ultra-premium Extra Añejo Tequila and Selección Suprema. This one-of-a-kind cocktail ingredient list included Herradura Agave nectar, fresh lime juice, all-natural premium handcrafted passion fruit, and ginger liqueur that features orange flower water, coriander, and a touch of vanilla. The cocktail is infused with savory, smoky flavors in a stainless-steel cocktail smoking box as a celebration of the bold flavors. Adding to the finishing touches, this extraordinary cocktail is topped with a wine of true exception in the Rare Champagne Brut Millésime 2008, one of only twelve vintages released since 1976. The margarita will be served alongside a set of two commemorative Baccarat Perfection Tumblers, which can be redeemed following the event.

A slew of influencers from MauyRicky and Patricia Zavala zoomed directly to Herradura’s Fan Zone to indulge in the $1,000 Margarita in Baccarat crystal glasses and share their experience with their millions of followers.
