Self-billed as “Miami’s most intimate hotel,” The Hotel at The Moore is now officially open in the Miami Design District. Its arrival marks the completion of the well-known Moore Building’s multiyear evolution and elevation: Its nearly 20,000-square-foot eponymous members club launched earlier in 2024; the designer Thom Browne opened a boutique on the ground floor in 2018; and there’s a permanent, sinewy sculpture by Zaha Hadid called “Elastika” installed in 2005 floating across its atrium. The addition of—and crowning by—a hotel adds a feathered cap (somewhat literally, as this component is on the top floor) to all of The Moore’s cultural goings-on.

Guests can expect privacy above all; The Hotel at The Moore only has 13 suites, ranging from 700 square feet to over 1,000 square feet. No two rooms carry the same aesthetic, though, throughout, there are furnishings from the likes of MOUS, an emergent Dallas-based line, and Sossego, a Brazilian collection that integrates sustainability in its designs. Developed by the hospitality firm WoodHouse, perhaps the most noteworthy thing about The Hotel is that it’s open to the public, but in-residence guests get all the perks of being a member at the Club downstairs. In this case, Moore is definitely more. 4040 NE Second Ave., Miami,@themooremiami
