With beloved favorites such as Figs + Mozzarella by Todd English, Danny Meyer’s Shake Shack, and Luke’s Lobster, plan on adding one of these dishes to your 2017 Christmas shopping list. Read on to hear more about our favorite 12:
Based in Boston, this casual, bistro-style restaurant will be serving inventive and gourmet cuisine with a fast food twist. From restaurateur, TV personality, and American Celebrity Chef, Todd English, this eatery is bringing a taste of home-style pizza to Aventura Mall.
We know parking at the mall during holiday season is a bust. After hours of chasing spots in cramped lots, you find yourself saying, “why not just shop online?” But, what makes this expedition so worth it every year is one minor bonus—food court cheeseburgers. And this year, Aventura Mall’s Treats Food Hall is bringing you the infamous restaurant chain, Shake Shack. Offering burgers, chicken, hot dogs, shakes, frozen custard, and of course, their special sauce, plan to head over to the mall for burgers instead of bags.
Perfect for seafood lovers, Luke’s Lobster Shack is bringing you their classic crustacean sandwich with their new cozy café in Aventura mall. Lending homage to their roots in Maine, this seafood shack is serving Miami locals a taste of their New England seaside delight. Expect a menu filled with their legendary lobster rolls, crab and shrimp rolls, chowders and bisques, and a variety of Maine-style sides. The best news? No need to choose hot or cold—both will be served, we are told.
For those looking for healthier alternatives, GOGO Fresh will be serving up light, flavorful salads—perfect for giving you that much-needed energy burst to finish your holiday shopping. Made on premises using premium and fresh ingredients, this counter serve eatery offers everything from empanadas to veggie burgers and soups.
What is the one food item Miami locals can’t do without? Ceviche. So, Aventura Mall Treats Food Hall is bringing this South Florida staple straight to you with the seventh My Ceviche—a fresh-from-the-ocean cevicheria serving bowls, burritos, tacos, and salads all including one main component, seafood. With flavors from around the world, there isn’t a dish that won’t excite your taste buds.
The owners of ZUUK—also the founders of My Ceviche—are bringing home cooked meals to Aventura Mall with their Mediterranean Kitchen. Using recipes the owners grew up with, including baba ghanoush, baked falafel, and spiced lamb kefte, this hip but healthy hot spot is sure to impress.
Offering an assortment of healthy, organic ingredients and sauces, there is a bowl of poke for everyone—even chicken if you desire it. We recommend the #7 KOA with tuna, edamame, daikon, radish, ginger scallion, tangerine, kale chips, garlic crunch, and yuzu cilantro sauce.
For an authentic New York style deli, head to Hank & Harry’s. Perfect for a quick grab-and-go lunch, this eatery will be serving up classic favorites such as cornbeef and pastrami sandwiches, homemade soups, knishes, and authentic NYC hotdogs.
With so many buns and burgers to choose from, it’s not always easy to pick one. So this gourmet national slider shop has the answer—a flavor for every craving. Whether it be meatball parm, pulled pork, buffalo chicken, or a chili-cheese dog, there’s a patty for any and all occasions.
The great thing about Miami weather is that every day is perfect for a cold treat, and nothing sounds better than three scoops of creamy ice cream topped with rainbow sprinkles, chocolate fudge, and cookie dough. After a day of shopping for others, indulge in something sweet at Aventura’s Häagen Dazs.
Inspired by Chinese and Vietnamese recipes, this authentic Asian cuisine uses signature wok-cooking styles to bring you flavorful dishes with a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Head here for lunch or dinner during a much-needed break from shopping.
New to the Aventura Mall food expansion, and just outside the Treats Hall, this 3,500-foot restaurant is warm, inviting, and even transparent, transforming you from diner to chef with a unique dough making room thanks to McKenzie’s design and custom fabrication. Opened December 5, this new pizzeria brings pizazz and perfection to a wonderland of treats.
