With summer soon behind us, it is important to take advantage of the last month! August is finally here and Miami has no shortage of events to finish summer strong. With football season approaching and concerts making their way to the Sunshine State, there are so many opportunities to take advantage of all August has to offer. We have rounded up some of the best big things to do in Miami this month.

Located at The Ice Palace Studios, this Beyond Van Gogh exhibit transports you into the world of Van Gogh. Happening throughout the rest of August, take a walk through this unique and immersive experience emphasizing the use of color, technology, multi-surfaces and more to bring his artwork and vision to life.

It’s Saturday night and you want to go dancing with your friends, head over to LIV Nightclub and dance the night away to world-renowned Steve Aoki’s DJ set. Performing on Saturday, August 14, the evening will be filled with popular music and the DJs classic cake toss into the audience!

Head out to West Palm Beach’s, iTHINK Financial Amphitheater for an amazing show by amazing singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette. As part of her re-scheduled, Jagged Little Pill 25th Anniversary World Tour, the performer is making her way across the country, hitting South Florida on August 18. Sing and sway your way to her amazing music and good times at this amphitheater show!

Football season is back at Hard Rock Stadium! Be sure to check out the Miami Dolphin’s first home, pre-season game against the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday, August 21. The regular season starts on September 12, so be sure to catch them as they get season ready!

This public art show is giving viewers their total art fix on August 21. Miami’s favorite brewery is celebrating its 8th anniversary on Saturday, August 28, with a day filled with fun activities including biking, cornhole, life-sized Jenga and of course some good brew!
