Nu Wave Swim picks up where IMG left off and lures top talent, like Tori Praver, back to Miami Swim Week.
Tori Praver grew up on the beach, surfing and swimming in the waves of Maui. Now a model, mother and designer, Praver has mastered effortlessly cool swim style. She brings it to life in her line Tori Praver Swimwear, which will show this month at Nu Wave Swim, a reimagining of the Swim Week experience founded by photographer Seth Browarnik and partner Michele Addison. It is the first time Praver has brought her collection to Miami Swim Week since 2015. “With Nu Wave on the scene we felt confident in the process again,” she explains, adding, “internally, we also wanted to take a step back, listen to our consumer and really perfect the collection.” Expect lilac and leopard, plus “a new supportive bralette that’s supersexy and gives everyone that extra ‘perk,’” says Praver. While Praver never walks her own runway, the Sports Illustrated model does have tips on bikini-season prep: “I get a lymphatic drainage massage, which is great for getting rid of extra water weight.” Enough said.
