1 - Tosca Brings the Romance

A taste of the Mediterranean Riviera is now tempting palates on Collins Avenue. Nestled in the former Eden space, Tosca aims to transport its diners to the days of La Dolce Vita with a lush atmosphere and haute Italian cuisine. For an unforgettable evening, the dinner menu offers special occasion dishes like Kristal Golden Osetra caviar from the Paris-based Maison Kaviari ($375 per ounce), grilled blue lobster tails with lemon and olive oil ($200 each), and fettucine with blow-torched Parmesan and white Alba truffle ($150)—the pasta is tossed tableside in the well of a large Parmesan wheel. Tosca also errs on the side of personality over pretension, thanks to a stargazing binocular station and an intimate movie screening room. Owner Stephan Fortier (formally of Maison d'Azur) makes sure to keep the candles flickering, the fish fresh, and the fine wines flowing. 210 23rd St, Miami Beach, 786-216-7230
