Fall looks by Milly, Anna Sui and Vera Wang
Designers like Anna Sui, Cynthia Rowley and Rick Owens rounded out their fall/winter collections with fun, flirty tights in a range of textures, colors and patterns. Here are our tips on how to pull off the season's hottest legwear.
Patterned tights: Instead of playing it safe and pairing patterned tights with solids, get creative and wear them with other patterns. We Love Anna Sui's mash up of Deco garter tights and bohemian florals.
Textured tights: The textural possibilities of your winter wardrobe are endless. Pair classic herringbone tights with oversize knit and wool sweaters. Take a silk dress to the next level by accenting it with plush velvet tights, or switch the equation and wear a velvet mini with sexy lace tights.
Bright tights: Eye-popping colored tights (as seen at Milly's fall show) go great with solids, but also work with prep school prints like houndstooth and gingham.
Thigh-highs: These schoolgirl classics play well with Mary-Janes, pleated skirts and shift dresses. Look for thigh-highs to make a major comeback in fall 2011.
