With a deep love for gin and tapas, the acclaimed team behind downtown Miami’s beloved neighborhood joint Lost Boy Dry Goods has introduced the city to its latest concept, Tropezón, next door to the newly opened Esmé Miami Beach Hotel. Nodding to the namesake Spanish village bars of the Andalusian region where men and women would come and gather, playing afternoon cards and sipping cocktails, Tropezón offers a haven of old-world culture. Step inside the cozy-cool bar, which boasts a vintage feel indicative of the southern Spain village saloons of the 1960s and ’70s. Transporting guests to its homeland, they’ll find intricate detailing, from custom tile work on the bar to distressed leather stools, vintage movie posters of old spaghetti western films and a jamon corner filled with family portraits of co-owners Randy Alonso and Chris Hudnall.

Driven by a passion for gin, the bar features a wide depth of gin infusions that make for an elevated gin and tonic menu including variations that speak to the Miami climate. From blue matcha yuzu to local strawberry, as well as classics like the vermut and rose sangria and gin martinis, guests can explore libations old and new upon each return.

To munch, journey through the tasty tapas menu, from savory papitas—elevated, lightly fried potato chips stacked with melt-inyour- mouth slices of jamon iberico and aged manchego cheese—to the sweet peaches en almibar—sweet peaches topped with honey and ricotta cheese, pumpkin seeds and nasturtium leaves.
With a captivating atmosphere and inspired food and drinks to match, Tropezón continues Lost Boy & Co.’s mission to bring locals and visitors together in an inviting neighborhood atmosphere. Whichever way your cravings steer you, you’re destined to stumble upon greatness. 512 Española Way, Miami Beach, @tropezonmiami
