Created to honor their mother, Andrea Cameron, the foundation works to continue her legacy and philanthropic passion within the community. The organization strives to award scholarships to students pursuing both college and technical education.
“When my mom passed away, we were struggling to find ways that she could still be that person, that mother figure that impacts peoples’ lives because she was the mother that was cooking dinners for my teammates and my friends and those in need,” Cameron note. “She focused so much on getting us in the best position to go to school, and so we figured the scholarships were the best way to honor her because she cared about kids going to that next level and going to school.”
The gala, hosted Sept. 22 at Lessing’s Hospitality Group’s Pelican Club in Jupiter, included a silent and live auction, dinner and dancing.
As a headlining event sponsor, Clarins has worked with Cameron for over two years. Melissa Reidhead, the communications director for Clarins USA, said the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation’s mission aligns with the skincare company.
“At the core of Clarins is a love of people and the planet. Children’s education and nutrition have been one of our long-term initiatives,” Reidhead notes. “We are honored to support our long-time partner and friend, Tyler Cameron, in his efforts to make a brighter future for children through the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation.”
Supporting the growth of the foundation, Reidhead notes the foundation is intrinsically in line with Clarins’ values to support children.
“We would love to see this foundation grow and see how many students can be supported. The foundation is set up to help students post-high school, no matter what continuing education they are interested in, college or trade school to get licensed,” Reidhead says. “Tyler wants to grow a community, and I’m looking forward to watching this happen and supporting how we can, whether supporting another gala event, mentoring or advising.”
Guests in attendance of the sold-out black-tie event included model and social media influencer Ali Martinez, Bachelor alumni Rachael Kirkconnel, Matt James, Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan, among others. Guests enjoyed the night of philanthropy while honoring Andrea Cameron’s legacy.

Cameron shared that the evening raised roughly $380,000, doubling the family’s goal.
“I’m completely blown away by peoples’ generosity, by the energy in the room and just the pure love shown,” Cameron said. “I think it was a testament to who my mother was; she was very inclusive, and everyone was always invited. She always had people over, she was always connecting people, and that’s what that night was; a room full of everyone who loved her and connected with her and brought her altogether.”
At the inaugural gala, Cameron shared the night and generosity inspired future projects, expanding the foundation’s reach.
“I think the scholarships are going to be the main key to what we’re doing, but also my dad talked about a learning center, and I think that could be a great way to help out, a great way to impact more students,” shares Cameron. “We’ll continue to grow, opening the scholarships to Palm Beach County and South Florida. Then eventually expand all of Florida and see where else this thing can go.”
