Miami Heat Captain, Udonis Haslem will host this year's Anatomy #HourPushUpChallenge in support of the Udonis Haslem Children’s Foundation and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. The event is sponsored by Anatomy Fitness, with special help from some of Miami Heat’s famed players. The event kicks off Sunday, December 12 at Anatomy Coconut Grove.
Notable attendees include the Heat’s basketball coach, Erik Spoelstra and 14-year NBA veteran Caron Butler. Spoelstra and Butler, alongside Haslem, will do a push-up challenge to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida and the Udonis Haslem Children’s Foundation.
“We hope that this year’s event raises well over our goal of $250,000.00 and sets the stage for years to come,” Haslem stated regarding his hopes for this year’s success.
Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for guests to take part in the push-up challenge. 100% proceeds raised throughout the day will go to the Haslem and Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Miami Heat’s Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Eric Foran, along with Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Michael McCullough, will also be in attendance to help raise funds. Haslem is very excited to come together to give back to the community that made him the man he is.

The founding partners of Anatomy expressed similar excitement regarding their partnership with Haslem. “The #HourPushUpChallenge continues to be a reflection of our staff and members’ commitment to helping others. We are thrilled to be adding one of Miami’s most iconic leaders, Udonis Haslem, to this annual event and look forward to making him and his foundation an integral part of #HourPushUpChallenge for years to come.”
Haslem’s collaboration with Anatomy Fitness and the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida division has given a voice to voiceless children who deserve a fighting chance at living a happy and healthy life. Norm Wedderburn, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Southern Florida expressed his gratitude for everyone involved in the effort to make the #PushUpChallenge a success.
“The event has become one of our favorite events of the year and helps impact the lives of those in our community. The determination and hard work of all of the participants and organizers means that many more children will get to experience a wish come true," said Wedderburn.
