We chatted with sisters-in-law and dynamic design duo Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard to chat all things style and finally opening a store in South Florida.

What’s it like to open a new Veronica Beard store in Bal Harbour Shops, a mecca of luxury retail?
Veronica Swanson Beard: Miami is such an amazing market for us, and the international reach is unparalleled. We’ve been wanting to open a store here for a long time and are thrilled to have a space alongside the top brands in the area. The decor for Miami is like no other—we leaned into the deco tropical vibe we love so much. We partnered with Meg Braff on the custom palm-print wallpaper and all the elements were sourced with only Miami Beach in mind.

Tell us about the new store. What are you most excited for Miami shoppers to discover?
Veronica Miele Beard: Swim! We’re launching our first line of swimsuits and cover-ups on December 5. We also have Veronica Beard jeans customized with “Miami” embroidery by artist Celine Benz available exclusively at our Bal Harbour location.

How do you think the Veronica Beard brand fits into the world of Miami style today?
VMB: There’s no other city quite like Miami! It's vibrant in every way and we’re offering the Miami customer a wardrobe for all aspects of her busy life—encompassing color, texture, versatility and glamour—to take her from the beach to a night out.
