La Nuit en Rosé brings a bouquet of events to Miami's lovers of this vibrant vin.
This month’s La Nuit en Rosé festival, March 4 through 6, promises to build on the incredible energy of its 2015 Miami debut, which featured more than 60 rosé wines and Champagnes—the largest gathering of rosé producers ever in Florida history. Wine entrepreneur and rosé ambassador Pierrick Bouquet (no pun intended) launched the first LNR in New York in 2014, and it was an instant hit. (Fairs are also held in Los Angeles in May and London in June.) “After the success in New York, we went to Miami because it is such a strong market for rosé,” says Bouquet. “The sophistication of the city and the climate make it a natural fit. Rosé should be consumed outdoors, around a swimming pool with friends. In Miami that can happen all year long.”
The three-day event kicks off with an intimate dinner for approximately 50 people on Friday night. Saturday features a poolside sunset pouring from 30 wineries, with light bites and a cool DJ groove. Sunday’s brunch shows the diversity of this wonderful wine when paired with everything from eggs to red meat. “Rosé makes people happy,” Bouquet says. “It is like a vacation in a bottle.” La Nuit en Rosé Miami takes place March 4–6 at Mondrian South Beach, 110 West Ave., Miami Beach
