Supermodel Winnie Harlow knows how to strike a pose, whether she's walking red carpet at this year's Met Gala or gracing the pages of Sports Illustrated. In her latest chat with Ocean Drive, Harlow dishes on her Met Gala look, what it taks to grace the pages of SI and where you'll find her hanging out when she's in Miami.

You looked fabulous at the Met Gala. Tell me what happens inside and what we missed. I heard there was a surprise Cher performance…
WINNIE HARLOW: I was seated at the best table—hosted by Tommy Hilfiger and Dee! Everyone had so much fun! It’s a great gala as I get to see many friends in one place! I am a huge fan of Cher. I was super excited she was performing! She is iconic. We all danced and sang along to all of the Cher songs! I’m so happy that I had a chance to meet her a few weeks back prior to the Met Gala at the Jimmy Fallon studios.

You flew to Miami to celebrate the new “SI Swimsuit On Location” exhibition after—what was the most exciting part?
WH: Of course, the most exciting part is seeing my photos inside of Sports Illustrated! It’s surreal to finally have the print magazine in my hands! It was a really fun trip, we all flew together to Miami. We had so much fun with Halima, Jasmine Sanders, Danielle Herrington and others on the beach. I love my Sports Illustrated family!

There have been so many iconic Sports Illustrated covers. As someone who has graced the pages of the magazine, what does it mean for you to be in it?
WH: For me it really is a dream come true, so many people I look up to have graced Sports Illustrated including Beyonce, Ashley Graham and Kate Upton. It was an honor to be chosen as one of this year’s rookies. It was an amazing shoot in the Bahamas with so much great energy.

I’m always curious to know the morning routines of highly productive people—what is your routine?
WH: I make sure to always start my day with breakfast! It is best for me to get in a quick workout, it’s always good to get it out of the way first! As you never know what the rest of the day holds. My call times are always changing so it’s hard to keep the same daily routine to be honest!

When you have downtime in Miami, where can we find you?
WH: You can always find me relaxing by the beach with my girlfriends! I am a Caribbean girl, haha! I love to get the best seafood there as well, David Grutman always takes care of me, taking us to the best restaurants!
