The iconic and ever-changing Wynwood Walls are getting a new look. Goldman Global Arts Gallery, located at the legendary Wynwood Walls, will proudly present a masterful and boldly expressive solo show created by Chilean artist Dasic Fernandez (@dasicfernandez). A collection of large-scale avant-garde paintings, “Lightness of Being” focuses on the human form, challenging his viewers to explore and celebrate the complexities of life.

Through the use of vibrant colors and abstract patterns, the Santiago-born artist provokes thought, infuses life into local infrastructure and changes cities from the inside out through his powerful art. His work incorporates different disciplines, including architecture and urban planning projects.
“I try to connect everything to my art through a comprehension of the situations that I go through or what I observe in other people and also the behavior of natural events around me all the time,” said Dasic Fernandez.
Inspired by 90’s Chilean street art, Fernandez acknowledges and advocates for the importance of art as a means to unify communities and celebrate diversity.

“Culturally, maybe the way I work with colors can be an influence from Latin America,” shares Fernandez. “I grew up seeing different expressions of art from different parts of Latin America and the tradition of muralism in Chile also, with a lot of political content used to be and still is very colorful and poetic.”
Fernandez’s brilliant artistry has expanded beyond the beloved Wynwood Walls of Miami to locations such as New York, Saudi Arabia, Rio De Janeiro and more.
