Beloved for its meticulously crafted handbags and accessories produced in Italy, Miami-based Ximena Kavalekas’ namesake brand has been worn by the most stylish fashionistas and celebrities all over the world. Having launched to much acclaim in 2015, Kavalekas continues to stun with her eye-catching pieces that span the colors of the rainbow in rich python skins, rattan, faux fur, snake-print leather, velvet and more.

Producing in an eco-friendly manner is a core principle of the brand, and Kavalekas has continued to propel this mission forward by donating a portion of sales to the Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida, which supports the Everglades conservation efforts. Keeping in theme with this philanthropic mindset, Kavalekas decided to celebrate the grand opening of the new Miami storefront by tapping activist and Miami personality Alexia Nepola to host the affair. The Real Housewives of Miami star encouraged the fashionable ladies to “shop till you drop” and give back while doing it, by dedicating a portion of profits to the de Moya Foundation, a nonprofit organization that is committed to creating employment opportunities for young adults with unique abilities—something near and dear to both Kavalekas’ and Nepola’s hearts.

In attendance were the fellow castmates of Real Housewives of Miami, including Lisa Hochstein, Larsa Pippen, Dr. Nicole Martin, Guerdy Abraira, Marysol Patton, Kiki Barth and Adriana de Moura, among others. Guests got to take in the gorgeous new boutique, which rests on the second floor of Miami Design District’s Palm Court and boasts an elegantly fabulous interior design by Michelle von der Goltz Interiors. Unique to the new boutique is a gorgeously feminine bar, which allowed guests to easily sip and mingle throughout the night. With shopping, Champagne, philanthropy and purses galore, Ximena Kavalekas gave Miamians a proper introduction to her newest home away from home in ultimate style.
