Following a decade in Miami, Zuma is ready for change. After being the first United States outpost of the delicious, contemporary Japanese cuisine restaurant, they have recently announced a total restaurant revamp, from the interior to the menu.
As one of the first international restaurants to enter the Downtown and Brickell culinary scene in early 2010, Zuma Miami helped set Miami as a top international hospitality destination. William Cristanelli, managing director at Zuma Restaurants USA and Europe explained, “It’s a game changer seeing after over a decade how Zuma Miami’s influence continues to grow and affirms what we had hoped would happen.”
This revamp is in celebration of the next decade to come, with new style, innovation and delicious new menu items - all staying true to Chef Rainer Becker’s modern Japanese izakaya dining.
Slated to fully re-open in mid-October, the new Zuma Miami will feature many new and beautiful design elements that celebrate Miami’s vast global culture.
Luckily, the restaurant will still remain open during the renovations, featuring Zuma Alfresco, seating tables outside only. The temporary outdoor concept will still offer the restaurant’s full menu and of course, the weekend brunch menu. Fully equipt for the warm Miami summer's the outdoor seating areas will offer air conditioning fans.
The Miami culinary is excited about Zuma Miami and its immense growth and is patiently waiting for this new and exciting revamp.
